There has recently been a proposal that 636 houses are built on Hersham Golf Club - Green Belt land.
Once the Green Belt is built on it is lost forever. The best way to protect our Green Belt is to have a Local Plan in place. Despite this, the Liberal Democrats and political Residents' Associations, that are in charge of Elmbridge Council, have failed to put this vital plan in place. Without it developers can get away with putting the wrong housing in the wrong places without necessarily providing all the infrastructure needed.
