Community Recycling Centres have reopened as of Monday 11 May but with social distancing measures in place and a reduced service.
They are currently only accepting black bag and garden waste and the number of visitors is being carefully managed so there is likely to be longer queues than usual. Only one person will be permitted to leave each car and no-one will be allowed in on foot. Also no vans, pick ups or trailers.
Please only use the tip if you absolutely need to, and check online before setting off in case the situation changes. Residents are being asked to hold onto other materials they need to take to CRCs, such as card, wood, metal, electricals and construction waste. The intention is to move to a second reopening phase after a few weeks when the full range of materials can be accepted.
