Conservative leader Councillor John O'Reilly will be briefing residents at the annual Let’s Talk Elmbridge: Prospects and Priorities event on Tuesday 13th January at the Civic Centre, Esher.
He will be joined by fellow members of the Cabinet and senior officers at the event which will give residents the opportunity to find out more about Council services and spending, hear about the Council's plans for 2015/16 and to put their questions directly to the Leader.
Prior to the presentation within the Council’s Chamber there will be an informal drop in session from 6-7pm, offering residents the chance to talk to officers about local services. The formal presentation will follow at 7pm, after which there will be a question and answer session for residents.
Conservative group leader Cllr O’Reilly said: "Let’s Talk: Prospects and Priorities is always well-attended and it is great that we have such an active community who have genuine interest in local government. We are accountable to the people who come along to these presentations and I welcome those who attend to ask questions. It is important that as a local authority we are transparent and open with the community we serve."
Due to seating capacity at the Civic Centre those who wish to attend the event should register by emailing [email protected] or by calling the Organisational Development team on 01372 474 377.
Residents who are unable to attend the meeting but would like to be involved in future consultation events and activities are welcome to join the Residents’ Panel and can find out more at www.elmbridge.gov.uk/haveyoursay.
