As Housing Minister in 2018, Dominic Raab strengthened Greenbelt protections in the National Planning Policy Framework.
In Elmbridge, he worked with local Conservative councillors to successfully oppose the 2017 proposals for large-scale housing development on Greenbelt, from Cobham to Long Ditton - which were backed by the Liberal Democrats.
We continue to oppose the options for development on the Greenbelt presented in 2019 by the current Elmbridge Borough Council (which, again, includes the Liberal Democrats).
