Conservative Campaign Win
Libdem-run Elmbridge Borough Council has backed down and agreed to review the recent hike in parking charges and removal of free parking at the weekends.
We launched a petition at the end of 2021 against these unfair increases, which was signed by nearly 1,500 residents.
Cllr John Cope, Walton Conservatives said "local Conservatives will always stand up for working people and small businesses in Elmbridge. I am pleased that the Council has listened to the strength of feeling about parking charges and welcome this review."
